Who are we and what do we do?
Slimmer Fitness is a division of Slimmeryou.us and is action fitness designed to give all ages the basic skills and confidence necessary to participate in physical fitness and an active lifestyle. We encourage fitness in the area of your choice--running a marathon or a shorter road race such as a 15K like the Tulsa run or smaller local 5K road races, walking such as fitness walking or hiking, weight lifting, track and field, bicycling, surfing, and skating. We even have a special section for the Senior Olympics.
To meet the goal of promoting an active lifestyle, we offer articles written by our coach and health consultant Bette L. Hall and other authors, fitness equipment such as treadmills and elliptical machines, workout videos, fitness books, a monthly chat held by our fitness expert, and a fitness blog (web log). Everyone’s invited to participate in our fitness blog.
To help you meet your body excellence goal, we also offer nutrition information, articles, and supplements such as whey and CLA.
Pete Nevarez is our founder and CEO. He began SlimmerYou in 1998 on a free web-hosting site, obtained the SlimmerYou.org domain name in 2000 and SlimmerYou.us in 2003. Slimmer Fitness is a branch of Slimmer You and is a totally new site formed in May 2004.
