Slimmer Sports and Fitness Running Race Photographs Wish Lemons 5K / 5 K Run   >   Road Race Photos Running Photos 2005 Wish Lemons 5K Run Road Race Tulsa, Oklahoma April 2, 2005 These photographs were taken at the Wish Lemons 5 K Run. The 2005 4th annual Wish Lemons Run was a USATF Sanctioned Run on a Certified 5K Course. Wish Lemons is a man of 86 years who is described as a "fixture on the Tulsa running circuit" and has a personal mission to "get us moving!" His wife, Wanda, is a runner also. The Wish Lemons Run promotes faith, Family and Country, Healthy Lifestyles and Relationships. This road race run is a citywide, family-friendly sporting event that promotes healthy living for all ages. This First United Methodist Church mission project fundraiser event began at 8:30 AM with the 1K Fun Run. The 5K Race began at 9:00 AM. Per race officials, no official results for the 2005 Wish Lemons 5 km run are available. A problem on the course led to numerous runners going beyond the turn-around point.
